Please note:

All boats may experience slight delays in the event of traffic in the canals or when queuing with other boats – this often happens at the Danieli – and therefore waiting for their turn.

From the time of arrival at the requested time, the boat includes a maximum of 10 minutes of waiting time at no additional cost, after which € 1,- per minute will be charged for additional waiting time (there is always some flexibility, 12/13 minutes are not charged)

The extra amount must be paid to the boat driver at the time, as well as any excess baggage as specified in the notes: the rates include 1 piece of luggage (suitcase or trolley, backpacks are allowed without surcharge) per person, extra luggage will be paid at the time € 5,- per piece.

Once your booking is complete, we will send you a voucher to present to the boat captain, who will not ask for any payment, except for any additional charges as noted above.

From Santa Lucia train station, we will assign an assistant (mandatory to coordinate the train arrival and the boat) who will meet you with a sign at the end of the platform and accompany you to your reserved boat.

Please note: The assistant’s time for each service includes two hours, from the train’s arrival until your arrival at your destination.

If for any reason, such as a significant train delay, the assistant is unable to complete the service within two hours, a supplement based on the extra time spent (usually about € 30,- max) will be due to the assistant at that time.

Note: some hotels are located within narrow canals and require a surcharge, which is why the rate is different; also, some hotels do not have their own “direct access to the water,” in which case the boat will drop you off at the nearest possible pier.
